why is it that when I click forum on litecoin.org to go to this site it is redirecting me to litecoin.io and everything is in German? Looks like a cover site hack of some sort to me…so i just typed in litecointalk.org to log in this time…warning to anyone logging in to the forum…there might be a problem…but i don’t run this server so I don’t know…just showing extreme concern here
I am the owner of this forum. Both litecointalk.io and litecointalk.org are pointing to this forum. You see German because you are using a German IP address or the language detection part is not accurate.
…my settings are in english and I am in atlanta, Georgia…not a “German” Ip address…I posted this because it was taking me to what looked like a hacked overlay…with the name litecointalk.io I thought it was a hacked site at first because all .io domains are free and it no site has ever done that to me before…
if its not a problem then please delete this post…however…this site never used to take me to any .io domains…especially when I start at litecoin.org…I have never been to litecointalk.io before yesterday…unless I just wasn’t paying attention…
…there is nothing wrong with my settings and litecoin.org is the only site doing it to me…
All I know is www.litecointalk.io still has not fixed https:// security
if you type in https:// by hand it does a secure name and password. Again if you just do the
www.litecoinpool.org the name and password continues to come
up as unsecured…this should be fixable FYI…I’d sent a previous pm about this …still not fixed.
