[ANN] Open Source Litecoin Faucet
« on: August 17, 2012, 09:03:08 PM »
I've decided to make my Litecoin faucet open source

Code: [Select]
litecoin faucet public release
------------------------------------------
Forum Thread: http://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,533.0.html
this is the simplest version of it, other might get released in time

made by Greedi 2012 (c)

INSTALL:
put files in www dir, edit config.php with proper values
and dont forget faucet.sql for the db...
in templates/header.php you have to set you're IP, so you can see server link.
the same in server.php, set you're IP, so you can access to page.

NOTE: Some wil maybe have to create the faucet donation account in there litecoind
account have to be FaucetDonations and/or SendOut

So how exactly does this work?  I'm not really a coder but, I want to host this.  I can get a free domain and stuff.

So, how do you edit the IP blocker?  I'll add tor and stuff.

Is this manual payments?  I would rather do that.

// Donation account
$don_faucet = "FaucetDonations";

This is the round length?

// RPC Settings
$btclogin = array("username" => "username", "password" => "pass",
    "host" => "localhost", "port" => "9332");

What's this?

    "host" => "localhost", "port" => "9332");

have you made the
FaucetDonation and the SendOut account in litecoind?

the SendOut account are not used by the Faucet, but i have to be there, because its made so you can make a auto payout system, its already there, just not activated
