Positive 2 x 7850

:D

Updated OP :)

Rig 1 (GPUs) : Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7970 6GB GDDR5 x 2 (825 KH/s x 2 = 1.65 MH/s) (214 Watts x 2 = 428 Watts)
Rig 2 (GPUs) : Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 x 4 (375 KH/s x 4 = 1.5 MH/s) (150 Watts x 4 = 600 Watts)
Rig 3 (GPUs) : Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6990 x 2 and Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6570 x 1 (910 KH/s x 2 and 120 KH/s x 1 = 1.940 MH/s) (60 Watts x 1 = 6570
300 Watts x 2  = 6990s (with Artic Cooling Accelero Low Watt)
Rig 4 (GPUs) : Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7850 1 GB GDDR5 x 2 (350 KH/s x 2 = 700 KH/s) (130 Watts x 2 = 260 Watts)
Rig 1 (CPUs) : AMD Athlon 6400+ X2 3.2 GHz (15 KH/s) (125 watts)
Rig 2 (CPUs) : AMD Athlon II X3 445 (17-19 KH/s Locked at 3 Cores) or unlocked into an AMD Phenom II X4 B55 (19-29 KH/s Unlocked at 4 Cores) (95 Watts)
Rig 3 (CPUs) : Intel Ivy Bridge 3770k (60 KH/s) (77 watts)
Rig 4 (CPUs) : Intel Core2Extreme QX9770 (40 KH/s) (136 watts)

Total TDP (Watts): 2081 Watts
Total Hashrate: 5.934 MH/s
Would be really great to hear the settings for your 6870, I only get like 320 with 950 mhz core speed.

Maybe a little offtopic, but for those who have reached big hashrate's with their respective cards: what was your memory speed (system RAM)?

I am pulling 300 kH/s with a 6950 unlocked @ 890/1325 with 2GB of PC8500 RAM and

Well, I've got right now in one system with 4gb 1333mhz ram, a couple of msi twin frozr ii 6950s.  But I use the guiminer interface for cgminer.  I haven't noticed a significant system ram usage change between more than one card.

The msi 6950 I was able to get to 496 kH/s at 920 core/ 1050 memory / 1.143v / 69 deg @62% fan.  Or, runs a little cooler at 487 kH/s  900 core / 1050 memory / 1.112v / 65 deg @ 58% fan, plus that is at the stock voltage.  That is with the shaders unlocked.  Before I unlocked the shaders, the kh was about 40 less for the same core speed.

Settings in guiminer are 7680 concurrency, 1 thread, intensity 19, 256 worksize.  If anyone with the same card is trying to unlock the shaders, I used the wizzard scrypt method and flashed to the card using ati winflash.  The link in the guide you can find online to ati winflash was an older version.  I had to use the older version, all the newer versions would not let me flash the card.

Kibu, you might want to play around with the miner settings to get better speed.  Also, your numbers will be lower if that is your only card and you need the system to be usable at the same time.  (lower intensity setting).  Also, you might want to try and re do the thermal paste and clean the heatsink out with compressed air.  All my cards are used, and by doing this to them, I was able to get anywhere from 5-20 degree change in temps out of them, which helps with the overclock.

lookup gap 2, 5850 threads 5760, 6950 @8192

The system with the 4 Cards is running at 750W with a 1155 Celeron, i had 2 6950 in the other System and it totalled to 1200W so 450W for 2x6950, same celeron base.

Mining on my linux box used as a regular desktop

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250 @ 3GHz
RAM: 4 GB
GPU: HD 5670

OS: Linux Mint 14 Nadia
SDK: AMD-APP-SDK-v2.8-lnx32
MINER: cgminer version 2.11.4

intensity: 10

(5s):67.58K (avg):63.65Kh/s | A:670  R:28  HW:0

Temp: 55.5 C
Fan Speed: 50%
Engine Clock: 900 MHz
Memory Clock: 900 Mhz
Vddc: 1.050 V
Activity: 96%
Powertune: 0%

Edit:
Recompiled cgminer with AMD-APP-SDK-v2.5 and tuned a bit more the settings.
Now im getting about 75 Kh/s
Code: [Select]
./cgminer --scrypt -I 10 --gpu-fan 100 --gpu-engine 900 --gpu-memclock 960 --thread-concurrency 960 --worksize 256 -g 4

2 rigs with 4 VTX 7990 = 4600 kH/s in scrypt mining and 5200 MH/s in SHA-256. Using about 2 kW at wall. Rigs are cased, so temperature isn't low - from +75 to +85 C. Working with cgminer 2.11.4 / 13.1 drivers / Win 7 64-bit. Setings for scrypt: OC with "unlocked" AB - core 845 @ mem 1700 (core clock not typical, but I get best results with this settings :D) Cards first cores undervolted to 1V, sadly but second cores is not accesible to voltage regulation :(
cgminer setings  --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256.
Others - mainbord MSI A75A G55, cpu Athlon X4, ramm 8GB, psu 1250W.

^^^Monster rig!

I've got 3x 6970s in one rig doing 540 kH/s each.
I also have one other machine with 1x 6970, 2x 6870 that still need a little bit of tweaking...
In case someone would like to help me pay for college, food, gasoline... (anything is appreciated):

pagan, are you on a 15 Amp circuit on 120V because that is over 16 amps lol

I can see the logic of the 7990, as far as packing more hashes into one box, but do you think it is worth it considering a 7970 is less than half the cost? Would majorly suck if you fried one at $900 a pop...
