[ANN] LTCMixer, a Mixing pool for Litecoin!
« on: February 06, 2014, 02:25:47 PM »
I operate a mixing pool called LTCMixer, and we're always interested in receiving new users.

The link is:

http://LTCMixer.cz.cc

How does LTCMixer work?

As a user, you need two withdrawal addresses, preferably ones you haven't used before. The user then generates a deposit address and makes a deposit worth somewhere between 0.1 and 10 LTC.

Between 48 and 120 hours after making the deposit, fresh Litecoin worth between 97 and 99% of the original deposit but unlinked in the blockchain is sent to the two withdrawal addresses in separate transactions.

Why do I need to provide two withdrawal addresses?

Using two withdrawal addresses prevents transaction from being discovered through blockchain analysis, by allowing us to send a random portion to one address and a random portion to the other address.

Why do you send back between 97 and 99% of the money deposited?

We take a random amount for the same reason, to help protect our users against anyone who tries to link transactions together through blockchain analysis.

What rules do I have to follow?

-Only use a deposit address once. For further deposits, make a new address.

-Don't wait more than 48 hours before making a deposit on a deposit address, generate a new one.

Why are these rules needed?

Because we clean our logs every week to protect the anonymity of our users. When an address has gone unused for a long enough period it's deleted.

I hope this service is of use to anyone here. Questions/complaints are welcome in this thread, or privately via PM.

Fishy, indeed. ;D
That's just what the LTC community needs, another "shady" business.

I don't think those coin laundering services are needed.

I disagree. Mixing pools serve perfectly legitimate purposes. Example: Sending Litecoin to family without worrying about them following the blockchain back to the donation address of the naked pictures you posted somewhere online.

In regards to this service being "fishy", we'll never have more than five days worth of people's deposits. For this reason it's not enough money to make it worth scamming people over. The service would be more profitable by playing by the rules.
