Mobile miner

Just curious if anyone here has any experience with the Mobile Miner app for iPhone/iPad? It's probably not very efficient, but it might be interesting as a side operation perhaps?

Really no point tbh, I installed the Android app to test it out and it puts out around 40 hashes a second so no real return. Also it takes power out of the phone quicker then the charger can put it back in on my S2.

Long term I think it would screw your battery, potentially your phone and really isn't worth it.

I have, and I wouldn't recommend it either. iDevices don't have enough computing power behind them to do anything useful. My friend's iPad 2 maxed out at 12 h/s. To put this into perspective, my old computer reaches between 4.5-5 kh/s (400x more powerful), and that's 12 years old btw. So there's no real point in it at all, it's just a waste of power as Layerz said.

Nope its not the mini,Its the same as the ipad 3 just with the A6X procesor running more gpu's.And better cameras on it. Same display and all that. They discontinued the ipad 3 so you can only get the ipad 4 or mini now. Or the old ipad 2.
