Linux Litecoin Mining
« on: April 05, 2013, 04:49:26 PM »
Newbie related question: I recently started dual-booting again between Windows and Linux (I am elementary OS, which uses Ubuntu 12.04 LTS as base) and am no longer mining on my Windows partition. So the question is, how can I set up pooled mining on Linux. Currently I'm only able to do solo mining, which I can't imagine getting a great ROI.

Any pointers? Not afraid of using the terminal (I practically live in it). Currently using AMD Radeon 8.96.4 drivers (I read that 10.x drivers are shit).

Thanks a bunch guys!

Build cgminer with scrypt enabled and point it to a pool you've configured a worker for.

Got it all set up, thanks!
